  • The industry has a direct and indirect impact on the Australian economy of over $1,086 million per annum.
  • Over 152,000 timeshare owners in Australia own approximately 121,500 timeshare weeks.
  • Timeshare owners and guests spend around $191.1 million annually in local communities during their holidays.
  • Timeshare operators spent around $139.7 million annually on non-compensation expenditures in 2009 (excluding taxes), of which sales and marketing and administration were the most significant components.
