Interval International announced the affiliation of Lake Towers Condo Hotel Sustentable, a mixed-use resort with whole ownership and condo-hotel units housed in a modern tower. The property is located in Villa Carlos Paz, a city tucked in the hills surrounding the Punilla Valley in the province of Cordoba.
“We are passionate about sustainability and are committed to protecting the natural environment. With Lake Towers, we chose to make conservation a priority through all phases of development, from the moment we broke ground, until we complete the project,” said Claudio Sirur Flores, president, Burjdein S.A., developer of the resort. “As ecotourism becomes increasingly popular, more visitors are choosing resorts that are built according to environmentally responsible practices.”
Currently under construction, the resort will comprise 98 well-appointed studio, one-, and two-bedroom condo-hotel units with a sleek, contemporary design. The first phase with 52 units is scheduled to debut in 2014 and the second phase with 46 units is planned for 2015. The property is being built using renewable materials, will be powered by energy-efficient solar panels and wind turbines, and feature a water recycling facility.
“We’re pleased to add Lake Towers to our quality exchange network. This eco-friendly retreat will offer our members an opportunity to visit this renowned destination in Argentina,” said Marcos Agostini, Interval’s senior vice president of resort sales and business development for Latin America. “Outdoor enthusiasts will also enjoy the large array of activities available at or near the property.”
