Accor Vacation Club, one of the region’s leading holiday lifestyle programs, has launched a new one-stop travel service and website for Members, www.avctravel.com.au. The new Accor Vacation Club Travel website is a collaboration between Accor Vacation Club and its new travel provider, Our Vacation Centre Pty Ltd in conjunction with I.C.E. Vacations Asia Pacific Pty Ltd (ICE).
ICE specialise in providing a range of exciting travel-based benefit programs for Holiday Ownership (Timeshare) providers, to benefit Members. They have been the sole provider of cruise product for Accor Vacation Club Members in Australia since November 2013.
Craig Wood, Accor Vacation Club’s Chief Executive Officer, said, “We are very excited about our extended partnership with ICE, and welcome them onboard as our new travel service provider.
“We’ve enjoyed great feedback for the cruise product they introduced for our Members, including exhilarating new destinations like Antarctica. We expect a similarly positive response to the many other added benefits, discounts and innovative travel options this new arrangement represents for Accor Vacation Club’s 28,500 Australian-based Members.”
Under the extended Accor Vacation Club Travel commercial venture, ICE has expanded its offerings beyond just cruises to provide a full suite of travel agency product for Members as part of its Discover365 Program.
Accor Vacation Club Members now have access to a full range of travel services at Accor Vacation Club Travel including:
- great value package holidays, including coach tours
- more than 140,000 hotel and resorts to choose from worldwide
- special cruise departures
- golfing and wine promotions
- competitive car hire
- travel insurance options
- hundreds of international and domestic flight deals
Mr Wood explained that the program complements the Club’s existing property portfolio of 24 hotels and resorts across Australia, New Zealand and Indonesia, and broadens the travel options available to Members as part of their membership.
“Accor Vacation Club Members can transfer their Première Points (the Club’s currency) to Discovery Points in order to redeem and book selected travel product available on the Accor Vacation Club Travel site,” he said.
“Best of all, the partnership means that each consultant our Members speak with has a true understanding of the how Accor Vacation Club and our points system works. This is definitely an advantage in ensuring maximum flexibility and value for those who want to leverage their membership to explore destinations beyond our hotel network.”
