INTUITION Announces Customer Satisfaction Award Based on Online Reviews

INTUITION, a powerful Customer Engagement Solution that is changing the way hotels and resorts communicate with guests and manage online reputation has created a new awards category for the Perspective Magazine Awards program that is based on public opinion of participating hotels and resorts.

The Perspective Magazine Awards, a global recognition program for the vacation ownership industry now in its 8th year, announces winners of more than 28 different award categories at the annual GNEX Conference, which this coming year will be held 26 – 28 February 2018, Miami, FL, on the world’s first mega-yacht venue, the $40 million, 228ft SeaFair Grand Luxe, with special rate accommodations available at Intercontinental Miami.

INTUITION is adding a new category to the 2018 awards program, which unlike the other categories, will be judged solely based on public opinion. Using INTUITION’s powerful business intelligence platform, participating resorts will be graded based on average review ratings from all major online review sites such as TripAdvisor, booking.com, Expedia, Google+, Facebook Reviews, Travelocity, Orbitz, Yelp, hotels.com and more.

Using an algorithm, similar to that used by leading review sites to rank resorts by popularity, the INTUITION software will grade the nominations based on all available 2017 reviews posted by vacationers to determine the winner(s).

Participating resorts will also be provided access to powerful review analytics for 2017 courtesy of INTUITION, and have the opportunity to take a closer look at all of the Customer Engagement services the company offers to hotels and resorts.

This new award category is certain to become one of the most coveted by resort developers throughout the hotel and resort industry. Nominations for the 2018 Perspective Magazine Awards open on November 1, 2017. Winners are determined by a panel of four judges along with online votes from the public where each judge represents 20 percent of the nominee’s overall score and the public vote accounts for the remaining 20 percent.
