For the past 10 years, Interval International’s operations in Australia and New Zealand have been managed by Vacation Management Limited (VML).  Interval and VML have enjoyed an excellent relationship and are proud of what we have accomplished together.

Classic Holidays Moves to New Premises

On 6 August, the Classic Group (incorporating Classic Holidays and Dial an Exchange) relocated from their Airport Central offices in Coolangatta to a new purpose built facility on the Gold Coast Highway, Miami. The move is attributed to Classic’s rapid expansion over the past few years. “The new premises have been completely refitted to accommodate our growing team. The Classic Group has experienced immense growth over the past few years, so much so, the Coolangatta offices simply couldn’t hold us all!” says Ramy Filo, CEO.

The new premises features an extensive reservations and member services area, accounts and administration, executive offices, IT offices, a training room, board room and a mezzanine level for future growth. “We’re incredibly excited about the new offices”, says Ramy, “and we invite anyone driving past to stop in and have a look”.

Dial An Exchange Announces agreement with RedWeek

Dial An Exchange, LLC out of Phoenix Arizona announced that it has signed an agreement with RedWeek to power the new RedWeek Exchange service on www.redweek.com

“The nature of the relationship is simple” says Dial An Exchange VP of North American Operations Fermin Cruz. “We are in the business of executing exchange transactions. We do it well. RedWeek has built an excellent online community of timeshare owners and has developed a great brand. We wanted to increase exchange transactions, they wanted to add a solid exchange service to their product offering”.

Dial An Exchange has been in the exchange business since 1997. Founded in Australia, DAE has successfully “gone global” with offices now in Australia, New Zealand, Europe, Asia, South Africa and here in the US.

“For us it’s not about the brand, it’s about focusing on solid exchange transactions”. Says Cruz. “RedWeek has over 1,000,000 registered members, 350,000 of which are timeshare owners. RedWeek has built a great brand and we don’t want to dilute that.”

DAE has been steadily growing over the past ten years and with its recent office expansion her in the US, is poised for more aggressive growth in the North American Markets in particular.

DAE has historically marketed its exchange services directly to the timeshare owner, via online, print advertising and direct mail. More recently,  DAE is beginning to focus on resort, HOA, management and timeshare affinity partnerships to help fill the need for simpler, more inexpensive and less complicated exchange solutions.

Aussies swoop on APVC Asia

In the same month that Accor Première Vacation Club welcomed its 20,000th Member, its new Club (APVC Asia) has celebrated its inaugural Membership... which was purchased by a Perth couple!

When the new preview centre within the new Novotel Nusa Dua Hotel and Residences in Bali opened, APVC planned to market the new Club to international guests and Indonesians. So it was a surprise to find our first Members to be living in our own backyard.

Dr John Saunders and his wife Thea from Perth were amazed to be told they had bought the Number One Membership when presented with a bottle of champagne and their Membership certificate by Daren Humphreys from APVC Perth.

The future of APVC Asia is firmly focused in Indonesia, with strong sales being made with local residents from offices in both Bali and Jakarta.
