Interval International Unveils Expanded App with Exciting New Features, Innovative Tools and Updates to Existing Favourites

Interval International, a prominent worldwide provider of vacation services, announced extensive upgrades and a complete refresh of its app, making it easier than ever for members to research, book, and exchange their vacations right from their smartphone.
The enhanced Interval app, which is free on iPhone and Android devices, now offers a combined search of exchange and Getaway inventory and the ability to book using any available weeks or points. Members can also browse destinations and
seamlessly view multiple resorts and all available relinquishments.
“This app is a real game changer for Interval members,” said Madeline Berges, vice president, e-Commerce and digital marketing. “Our mobile-first strategy drives our ability to continuously deliver a great user experience, and the expanded app simplifies the vacation planning process with just a tap.”
The user-friendly app also provides an entirely new look and feel. Upon login, which is now available using fingerprint or facial recognition, a new dashboard displays upcoming trips, a search by map option, Getaway alerts, Top 10 Getaways, and
Flexchange availability. A redesign of the Resort Directory allows users to “pinch and zoom” to view photos, property descriptions, resort amenities, and current weather conditions. In addition, they can access native features to post to social media or send vacation details to friends and family via text message or email, and locate nearby resorts using their phone’s GPS.
Additional functionalities allow members to:
- Create custom alerts that notify them when Getaways are available.
- Save a list of their favorite properties.
- View detailed resort descriptions and photos.
- Watch Interval HD videos.
This latest app upgrade will apply to all Interval members worldwide. Points-based members can also exchange on the app, and those who own multiple weeks will be able to search against all their weeks at the same time.
